A whole house calculation is a design based on basic heat loss information. 

This takes into account the property volume, air changes per hour, insulation values for various aspects along with location and height above sea level to determine the design requirement. 

From the kWh design requirement we will be able to specify a suitable heat pump for your project. 

This will enable you to provide an estimate to your customer without having to undertake the full MCS design first. 

A fully compliant MCS design will encompass all aspects of the heat loss of a property, much like the whole house heat loss calculation. However, the full MCS design is undertaken on a room by room basis taking into account the specific insulation values of all elements internal and external including heat loss to neighbouring rooms below, above or alongside.
