Muovitech Standard Collector
Muovitech manufacture only in polyethylene pressure pipes of PE100 or PE100RC material.
Properties:
- Corrosion resistance, good hydraulic properties, long life, fixed joints, light weight and can with stand large deformations without breakage with good impact resistance.
- Dimensions: 32mm, 40mm, 50mm
- Pressure classes:PN10 SDR17, PN12.5 SDR13.6, PN16 SDR11
- Collectors can be used for ground, lake, geothermal
Muovitech Bore hole probes
This is a traditional energy capture system, factory made probes to collect energy via a bore hole, all probes connected back to the chamber.
Properties:
- The return bend on the probe is factory fitted, tested and supplied with customised return weights.
- Dimensions:32mm, 40mm, 50mm
- Lengths:50-500m
Muovitech Turbo pipe
Bore hole probes or ground collectors can be requested in either standard pipe or turbo pipe.
Properties in addition to standard pipe:
- Turbo pipe is an energy collector with a better performance due to more turbulent flow resulting in better heat transfer characteristics.
- A Turbo collector has up to 33% lower bore resistance than a smooth collector thus reducing the pump power required to move the fluid around the system.
Muovitech Header Pipe
Header pipe is used to link the ground loop manifold back to the heat pump incoming flow and return. Header pipe sizes range from 16 to 225 mm and is dependent on length of header run and system design.
Properties:
- Corrosion resistance, good hydraulic properties, long life, fixed joints, light weight and can with stand large deformations without breakage with good impact resistance.

Manifold
Muovitech Manifold chambers
Manifold chambers are made of polyethylene with sizes to suit 3 collectors to 20 collector systems.
- Bespoke designs are available as an option upon request.
- The chambers come with a fixed polyethylene cap as standard.
- Vehicle proofaccess cover for 40 tons or lockable caps for 1.5 tons are available as an option.
- All chambers are equipped with flow meter and shut off valves and all components are welded.
- Each chamber is pressure tested, pipes, components and chamber to check there are no leaks.
